1988 328 GTS 26,186 miles project car, runs/drives well, selling as is, red/black Patient mechanic's special; not for detail obsessive concours judges, The car has a clean carfax report. COSMETIC DESCRIPTION The front valance is imitation 288GTO, the hood is not a Ferrari part, the inner door panels are aftermarket and do not contain an inner door handle. The door glass is missing on both sides. The seats are original but have been reupholstered in vinyl. The dash is in good condition, however the center console needs to be redone or replaced. the trunk is half filled with trim parts and other paraphernalia. MECHANICAL DESCRIPTION The car runs quite smoothly. The gearbox, clutch, brakes, suspension all function as they should, I drove the car and everything felt normal under acceleration, braking, turning etc. IN CONCLUSION Not worth doing if you are into concours and q-tip exhaust cleaning but certainly an interesting option if you just want a decent driver to enjoy; it can be brought to that level without too much effort. Likewise it could be turned into a track event car without too much effort since half the to do list to bring the car back to perfect standard would be irrelevant and superfluous for a track car.
